Position Your Blog for Massive Search Engine Traffic - Web 2.0 - Blogs

Search engine traffic remains the most reliable source of traffic on the internet. This is because popular providers like Google and Yahoo have a lot of people visiting them to search for information.

A lot of beginners find it a hard job to rank well in search engines in order to attract visitors to their websites or blog. If you're one of those, relax because I'll reveal some simple methods you can use to better results.

When traffic building efforts from search engines tend to bring in slow or no results, most beginners leave their blogs, hoping that visitors who are looking for information on their topics will find them somehow. No, it doesn't work that way!

There are certain things you need to do on your blog for it to generate traffic from this method. Now let us look at these things:

Firstly, after you have created and designed, you then have to tag it for search engines to easily dictate what it's all about. Not tagging it will make it difficult to be found and displayed in search results because the search engine cannot figure out what the blog is offering.

There are two necessary tags you must input on your blog after designing it. These are Meta name keyword and Meta name description.Meta name description explains your blog content, telling what your blog is all about. It's also important that your description should also contain your chosen keyword phrase. The second tag, Meta name keyword displays a list of relevant keywords to your blog and also helps reveal what your blog is offering. Both Meta tags should be situated at the header section of your blog.

Secondly, when making your blog post, always make sure you keyword optimize it, which means using the keyword phrase you want to rank for within the post. For example, if your keyword is 'lose weight fast', you'd want the phrase to be in the title of your post and also 1%-2% within your article. By this I mean, in every 100 words, your phrase should appear once.

Also, you have to get your blog listed after it's launched. The real deal is that if you do not submit your blog, there is no way it will be indexed and displayed whenever someone makes a search on your keyword phrase. To confirm if your blog is indexed or not, search the URL on Google. If it doesn't appear on the displayed results, it means you still have to submit it yourself.

There are different ways to submit your blog today. One of the ways is by using the submission tool found on or /addurl. While the later will only submit it to Google, the former will submit it to over 40 different search engines and directories.

You can also get your blog indexed fast by commenting on other popular blog in your niche and online forum which have high followership and search engine ranking.

The above methods will surely boost your search engine traffic if well implemented.
