When I first got connected with the World Wide Web back in 1996, I instantly saw its potential for a great many things. Many of those things I envisioned back then have yet to be achieved. However, the idea of using the World Wide Web to make easy money online has taken off like I never imagined!
Over the years, I've tried my hand at several methods. And, as new technologies were developed to streamline the process of making internet money, it became easier and easier. Until, finally, it has reached a point where virtually anyone -- anyone with any level of commitment and motivation -- can easily get their start at "easy money."

Having a website isn't absolutely necessary, but if you want to make more than just a few bucks each month, you're going to need one. This is most easily achieved by going through a web host. Web hosts often offer a slew of integrated tools that make it easy for you to set up a professional-looking website quickly and easily.
Content management systems can be installed with a click of a mouse button, professional web templates made available, and even the ability to accept credit card payments.
Promote Your Website
I've worked in the field of internet marketing since 2004 -- for corporations, ad agencies, as well as freelance. My experience has shown me that in order to maintain sustainable earnings from your website you must have a consistent supply of traffic. The best way to maintain a constant flow of traffic over time is with search engine optimization, or SEO.
SEO is the process of getting ranked with the major search engines for specific target-keyword phrases that are relevant to your offering. In other words, if you sell oak furniture then you probably want to rank well for "oak furniture" and related terms. Search engine optimization is the process of accomplishing that.

Monetize Your Website
Once you're getting traffic, you can start making money off of it. There are dozens of ways to do this such as contextual links (like Google Adsense) that pay you each time an ad is clicked, affiliate links that pay you every time you refer a visitor to a web store and they buy something, or through the more obvious method of selling items directly to the public.
