I use a wordpress platform with paid hosting, but you can also use it for free hosting just be careful sometimes they will delete your blogs without warning. Your first step is to get the following free plugins: Google XML sitemap, All-In-One-SEO, (and make sure you install google analytics or just get the plugin for it it too). Next you have to do your research for your topic for you article. Use google keyword tool found in Adwords (even if you do not plan on advertising, because you do have to start an account), Traffic Travis (don't worry there is free version that is actually good),and Google Insights For Search. Using Google Adwords and Traffic Travis will help you pick out keywords to distribute in your article. Those keywords will be important because that is part of the secret sauce that creates a good optimized SEO article, organic SEO is helpful. Insights will give you a good idea of what people are searching for and what the search trend volume has been like. When you write your article make sure the correct keyword density in your article you reuse you main keyword 2-3 twice in your paragraphs, make these paragraphs at least 200 words.

Once you have down your research, what ever your keyword is use it in the title of your article. Remember how you went to Adwords and Traffic Travis to do research? Use those keywords you found in your meta tags, keywords and description of article.

If you post a minimum of 4-5 articles a day you will see good traffic. Usually I get anywhere from 20-30 uv and up to 40 uv per article I post.  I try to post like 2-4articles a day.
